    Individual Counseling

Ah, to feel connected to self and others, living life with a whole heart!

Individual therapy offers the invitation to explore your own internal experience to help you build a thriving future.

Tending to wounds of relationship and emotions and building inner understanding, this allows us to reach up to new possibilities.

It is a path of learning, letting go, allowing, noticing, crying, laughing, creating, and integration.

When counseling is supportive, it offers an opportunity for you to walk this path into a more aligned, connected self. It makes space for joy.

This can be tender work, worth it as new compassion and story create new possibility. The nourishing space is there to finally look at the anxiety, grief, “failures,” abuses, and sadness with support. This is about creating movement and momentum so that the shifts that happen can make a sustainable difference in future life.

therapy is your chance to dive into making life, with all its uncertainties, pains, joys, and aspirations, as rewarding and healthful as possible.

Stay open to your ability to create a new path!

What would be different if you knew how to be loving and gentle with yourself as you face the hardest parts of life? Might you have more space for creative solutions?

We work together to meet your goals, and collaborate with others as you choose.  We honor your past, take advantage of the present, and look toward your future.

Let’s talk about what you are hoping for.

As we get to know each other we develop a blueprint for getting you where you want to go. I offer a creative approach to therapy with tools and practices to open your mind to new perspectives and access your inner resources.

We do this by talking about your life and how it is for you living in your mind-body. We explore tools and recomendations that appeal to you. I pull from a menu of creative and mindfulness practices, psychology and philosophy, and spiritual practices if that is part of your beliefs.

When is it time to call?

    • If you are tired of feeling this way.
    • If you are dealing with a big life-change.
    • If you are wanting more joy and purpose in life.
    • Wondering where your spark went?
    • Dealing with the impacts of stress.
    • Someone important to you has died.
    • You are ready to write a new story for yourself.

Continue to keep balancing it all–not a great option

That can get precarious. And it is a great way to continue the same cycles and patterns you’ve always had.

Right now it might only be clear that things have got to change. That’s OK!

Maybe you know, and maybe you don’t know which issues and challenges you want to focus on and what your goals for therapy would be. The phone consultation is the best way to start talking about this.

Go ahead and reach out by phone or email. I’m here to help you find the right therapeutic path.
